NoBot Antivirus Software Review
NoBot is a nifty little program that finds malware in your system. It's designed to be easy to use, so it can perform a multitude of tasks.
The application combines a rugged plastic exoskeleton with Raspberry Pi, the latter of which handles most of the unit's operations. Unlike most antiviruses, NoBot does not rely on a complex operating system to perform its duties. Instead, it simply opens a file location on your local system.
There are two versions of NoBot, the free version and the premium edition. If you decide to purchase the premium version, you'll receive more features. These include the ability to scan for Windows directories, System Startup Tasks, Module Injections, and malware.
Although it's not as fancy as some of its counterparts, NoBot is still capable of detecting all kinds of malware. With the free version, you can run a quick scan to see if there are any threats on your machine. You'll also get the ability to download the latest definitions.
The premium version goes a step further, allowing you to scan for the latest threats, like keyloggers, as well as a module injection. The software even has an option to let you hire a humanoid minion to do your work for you.
Not only does NoBot find malware, it can also help you eliminate it. The program has a quarantine area to isolate infected files. Additionally, you can manually check out the quarantined files to see if any of them are dangerous.
